Part of the way I discovered and nurtured my passion for STEM, and specifically computer science was through the Technology Student Association. Providing competitions in nearly every aspect of STEM, TSA allowed me to explore different areas of interest and compete and compare myself against thousands of other students in the state of Florida. In my final year competing in TSA, I placed 2nd in the State in CAD Design, after months of preparation and practice using my passion of both engineering and computers. Other events I competed in were coding, Inventions and Innovations, Microcontroller Design, the VEX IQ Challenge, and Video Game Design.
